Good morning from YNP!
As the sky was mostly clear last night, it opened up for a chilly 21 degrees this morning. Bright blue sky this morning with a predicted high of 60 degrees. This will be welcomed as the past couple weeks have only seen highs in the 50's.

I work today from 10:30am to either 6:00pm or 10:30pm. My plan before we open today (11:00am) is to take some pictures of the cafeteria and dining room so you can see where I work. I'll also try to get some history on the building as to how old it is.

I'm also posting some more pictures of previous things I've scene. So here goes, I will try to post them in chronological order:

Buffalo Bill Monument, Cody WY

The day before I entered the east gate of YNP I tent-camped in Cody, WY the famous home of Wild Buffalo Bill Cody. The campground was five minutes from Buffalo Bill Museum, That sis where the picture above was taken. The museum was awesome and it displayed the history of this area being pioneered during Bill Cody's lifetime. There is even a present day downtown motel he built and operated with his wife. He operated this in the latter years of his life and even filed bankruptcy, as he went broke building it. While I was at the museum they had 400 firearms on loan from the Smithsonian. These were from guns-makers from all around the world and all time periods. A gun enthusiast would have never made it out of this section of the museum.

My first view of Yellowstone Lake as I entered park below, still frozen from cold winter's grip.

As I drove further north through the park on my way to Gardiner, MT this was my first view of YNP expansive view. I actually slightly wept as I viewed God's great creation.

The picture above and below are two points of interest I saw while riding my road bike up to Madison Junction and back to Old Faithful. The top one if you click and zoom you'll see fly-fishing on opening day of fishing season in YNP waters. The interesting thing was (I'm not meaning to sound sexist) was there were as many women fly-fishing as there were men. I guess since I don't fish, and am not that acquainted with this sport, I was surprised to see women in love with fly-casting, holding up a beautiful fish, that would soon be dinner. Sorry, I don't see this in Troy, OH.

The picture below shows me crossing a bridge and seeing buffalo grazing near by.

These next six pictures show scenery viewed while on my hiking trip with fellow co-workers on the Hellroaring Creek trail. By the way the Pronghorn animal pictured is North America's fastest animal (clocked at 65-70 m.p.h.). Just think... one of them could pass you on Interstate I-75.

Awesome pictures on bike trail from Jackson north to Jenny Lake. The Teton Mountains are absolutely breath-taking.
