Good day from YNP!
Lots of sunshine against a bright blue sky on my bike ride to breakfast this morning. Mid-60's today, yeah. A big bowl of oatmeal with a banana should energize me for my day ahead. As you may have read in one of my earlier posts we are short staffed, as it is still somewhat early in the season. So, today I get to work a double-shift serving pasta from 10:30AM - 9:00PM. We have more international students arriving next week, so hopefully things will be a little more normal then.
Had a good day yesterday running the register on my C1 shift. When I closed out and did my paperwork for my bank drop I was right-on to the penny exactly $748.76. Now that's a lot of bison meatloaf. My busiest day so far was around $1,800, and that's with three cashiers operating.
Here is a brief description of what I serve on the pasta line:
Lasagna
Penne Pasta with choice of Alfredo, Bolognese, or Marinara sauce
Corn, creamed spinach, or vegetable medley
Dinner Roll
Other lines serve:
Baked Trout
Bison Meatloaf
Turkey w/Dressing
Mashed Potatoes
Vegetable Medley
Barbecued Chicken Sandwich
Meatball Sub
Mac & Cheese
Chicken & Pesto Wraps
Lettuce & Spinach Chef Salads
Various Desserts
Only three more days until I meet my sweetie.
Bye for now!
